Trying To Stay Awake
The present-day BBC will not comission a series that is not "woke". Therefore, if you still want to keep watching the BBC's output, you will have to put up with the "wokeness", or stop else stop watching. It is a completely captured organization.

The "wokeness" thing has become too much of a trigger for some people. Consequently, they can no longer enjoy any creative content that includes even a hint of it. That's too bad really. The series Sense-8 was excellent, but anyone triggered by trans wokeness won't be able to get through it. Disney has the Star Wars franchise, and there's some other good stuff there — but again, anyone triggered by wokeness won't sign-up. Ironically, the intolerance for anything with even one frame that might suggest something woke is just as bad as the woke who were preaching their intolerance and hate speech against the so-called "normies".

The BBC is a public British broadcaster. In Britain we are subjected to a poll tax where we must fund the BBC if we want to access any live televisual content, no matter if it is put out by the BBC or not, called a TV licence. It is a legitimate protest against this to boycott the organization's output. It is like being forced to take out a subscription for the Guardian newspaper if you want to read what anybody else is saying. The overtly partisan political nature of the BBC's broadcasting, in flagrant breach of its charter, is an important factor in this.

Yes — I get that. We have the same problem here in Canada with the CBC.

As Above So Below
Disney has the Star Wars franchise, and there's some other good stuff there — but again, anyone triggered by wokeness won't sign-up.

Disney built up the Mandalorian brilliantly in season one and two only to utterly wreck it beyond repair with poor writing and the blacklisting of a main character because of her personal views that were not woke...

The Star Wars movies, the first six in particular, before Disney, are magnificent storytelling...The first of the Disney made Skywalker saga trilogy was pretty good, I watched that in an IMAX theater in Buffalo New York when it was first released...The second and third movies in the trilogy were a trainwreck, not so much because of any wokeness, (although the idea of giving a Mary-Sue the keys to everything without any effort was not the best of choices along with bastardizing the overall story of the Skywalker saga) but because of extremely bad writing...

There is a shining star within all of Disney's Star Wars movies and that would be the movie Rogue One...An outstanding movie, with brilliant writing, acting, and directing, a masterpiece by Disney, revealing how Princess Leia got the plans for the Death Star as we saw in the very first Star Wars movie called A New Hope...

All in all, Disney made Star Wars movies and series were hit or miss, the ones which failed did so not solely because of wokeness but extremely poor writing and execution...Giving woke activists who are extremely inexperienced the keys to the Star Wars 'kingdom' was not such a good idea...
