As far as I know Toba is extinct. Could be wrong though?
Its still active......and its eruption 74,000 years ago was worse than the biggest Yellowstone eruption 2.1 million years ago.

Its actually when it erupts....which will happen in the near geologic future.
The people in Australia have other volcanos to worry about....they don't need to worry about just Yellowstone.
Thank you sir. Didn't know that. I know it created a lake it's last eruption and killed off 30% of the world's population. Thought it was extinct. Guess I was wrong!
If Yellowstone blows in your lifetime you better pack your bags and join the rest of the refugees heading to Germany and Europe.
You mean with you in it ?
No......due to the affects of Yellowstone...but you have worse volcanoes to worry about.
Which is the worst one in your opinion ?
A large volcanic eruption will cause massive global cooling.Toba and that's not an opinion....also Krakatoa & Tamboura are very bad and much closer. In addition if Agung explodes like Tamboura your area will be severly affected and the affects will be global for all four.

Yeah! Running would be a good idea. They are lucky they didn't get suffocated or burned by pyroclastic flows.

Volcan de Fuego erupted on Sunday and again on Tuesday, sending ash and smoke 20,000ft into the air
- Pyroclastic flows destroyed at least seven towns and turned green canyons into grey devastation
- Rescuers dug up 99 bodies with at least 197 people missing and, they believe, almost certainly dead
- Searches are hampered by rain, mudslides, poisonous gas, and 1,300F temperatures just below the surface
