Well yeah, generally they're lead with or without a copper jacket. But here's 880 rounds of metal bullets from 1973. Ivan used steel under a minimal copper wash or jacket. Normal for old military surplus ammo - when you go to a range they'll often check it with a magnet because steel plays hell with backstops. And they'd put a quick messy end to there there Japanese terminator robots pretty quick too
