Davos' debauched underbelly: How the global elite indulge in cocaine, caviar and champagne at secret 'bunga bunga' parties behind the scenes of the World Economic Forum

Once a year, global elites from all sectors attend a five-day conference in the snow-capped town of Davos, Switzerland - which is supplemented by caviar, champagne, and all types of debauchery after hard work is over.

The World Economic Forum 2024 is kicking off this week, with world leaders and business executives convening for discussions and events surrounding the most prominent issues of the day.

The theme this year is 'Rebuilding Trust' - and will be attended by 3,000 guests.

But when they descend on the small Alpine resort town of Davos, attendees do more than just discuss global conflicts, the economy, and the evolution of technology. They bond and build business bridges with one another at A-list soirees and parties.

CEOs and dignitaries mingle over caviar bumps, $1,000 bottles of champagne and luxurious parties that only the elite in the world are able to get an invite to.

One person, who attends the forum often, told The NYPost: 'You can almost smell the magic of the place when you're there. Everyone's got an agenda and you never know who you're going to run into when you come out of the restroom. It could be Bill Gates.

'You're around some of the smartest people in the world but one thing you learn is that they're not always so smart.'

Skybridge Capital founder and chairman Anthony Scaramucci said: 'If you look up namedropping in the dictionary you'll see a photo of Davos.

'But you know what? I've never left the mountain without learning something important or making a new friend.'

Private jet elite at Davos PANIC over Trump presidency: World business leaders say a second term will have serious issues and are scrambling to put plans in place

(Excerpt)

On the same night he won the Iowa caucus, the world's top business and economic leaders gathered for the summit's opening event, where they expressed their concern that a second Trump term would lead to the return of American isolationism and a threat to trade and climate policies around the world.

'You know, we've been there before, we survived it, so we'll see what it means,' Vice Chairman Philipp Hildebrand said in a Bloomberg Television interview. 'Certainly from a European perspective, from a kind of globalist, Atlanticist perspective, it's of course a great concern.'

Trump last attended Davos in 2020, when he made a dramatic entrance by landing with a squadron of helicopters.

But he was a popular topic of conversation for this year's attendees.

Many at the gathering of leaders from business, governments, civil society, faith groups, academia and the arts wondered if the 2024 presidential contest in the United States would end up a repeat of the 2020 election and what the outcome would mean for the rest of the world.

Argentine president praised for calling out Davos elites abandoning freedom for socialism: 'Drops truth bombs'

New Argentine President Javier Milei stunned social media users this week with his speech at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Switzerland, where he called out Western elites for trading freedom for "collectivism."

Milei, a self-described anarcho-capitalist elected to office in November based on his commitment to slashing government spending, confronted those attending the Davos gathering on Wednesday, telling them the West is "in danger" because of their agenda.

"Today I’m here to tell you that the Western world is in danger. And it is in danger because those who are supposed to have defended the values of the West are co-opted by a vision of the world that inevitably leads to socialism and thereby to poverty," Milei said.
