New film calling White people 'most dangerous animal' on planet bombs at box office​

A satire film intended to send a provocative message about race relations bombed at the box office on its opening weekend.

Focus Features' "The American Society of Magical Negroes" took the 9th spot at the box office last weekend, grossing $1,304,270 while playing in 1,147 locations around the U.S.

The film centers around a young man who is recruited to be part of a "society" where Black people use their magical powers to make White people comfortable, so that they don't hurt Black people.

Violence isn't the answer, but I'm not sure there is a good answer for this one. I think things will continue to decline between men and women.

One ray of hope is in the growing number of women who are becoming aware that the feminist agenda is divisive and don't like being used by other women to advance some dubious leftist political agenda. Megyn Kelly is awesome.

Thanks, I will take a look. I support women's rights and equality, and whatever gender you'd like to be, as long as I can live my life my way. I don't care for the disdain for men and things masculine that creeps into things.

In the immediate aftermath of the George Floyd murder in 2020 I would say it was even more. It was a majority of adverts, and it was almost always that the first person you would see in the advert would be black. I think it might have been tempered by outside criticism since then.

The left wing (of which the advertising industry is definitely a part) in Britain seems to suffer from a condition called "America brain", where the sufferer has a pre-occupation with America and its domestic affairs. It is almost as if they believe they are in America, and that America's problems, as perceived by the American left, are Britain's problems also, and that they have the same causes and solutions as identified by their leftist comrades across the pond. Therefore the murder of George Floyd had nearly as much impact in Britain as it did in America due to this delusion, as the left wing went completely bats. The left wing establishment who control all of Britain's institutions used it as an impetus for a complete transformation.

Britain and America are two culturally dissimilar nations, and the history of how a black minority came to exist in Britain is entirely different (it is due to voluntary immigration in the post-war period, not due to being forcibly brought here as slaves). There are not as many black people here as in America as a proportion of the population, and there are more from the Indian subcontinent. Initially the immigration of black people was from the West Indies, but nowadays it is largely from Sub-Saharan Africa. That three percent figure is a very recent development as well, as immigration has snowballed in this millenium. It used to be even fewer.
